Graduated from Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute in 1983 and from Dagestan State University in 1989. In 1998 graduated from the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Employee of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation since 1993.

1993-1998 – Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

1998-2003 – Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan.

2003-2006 – Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Moscow.

2006-2010 – Consul General in Khujand, the Republic of Tadjikistan.

Since 2011 – Deputy Director of the Department for Relations with Subjects of the Federation, Parliaments and public organizations at the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation.

Holds a diplomatic rang of Minister extraordinary and plenipotentiary, II class.

Married with two sons.
